What is the general return policy on Granth?

What is Granth Return/Replacement Policy?

If you have received a damaged or defective book, you can return it to get a replacement within 5 days of delivery at no extra cost.

To avail free replacement you must notify us immediately as the books are delivered. The damaged items can be returned to the courier, if identified at the event of delivery and a brand new replacement will be shipped to you at no extra cost.

In case of delayed return, the books being returned must remain in its actual condition present at the time of delivery. Please ensure that books being returned are not used or damaged or replaced with the actual books. Retain original packaging and delivery Challans/invoice to claim the exchange.


What is the 5 Day Exchange Policy?

If you have received books as a gift from someone, However you wish to return for an exchange, you can avail a free exchange for the books worth same or higher to the value of exchange by communicating us within 5 days of your delivery.

However the delivery of such exchange will be done at the convinient schedule as per our other deliveries and the books exchanged once can not be returned or exchanged further.

What are the conditions for initiating a return?

Damages due to misuse of books are not covered under the policy. Books once exchanged cannot be returned unless they have reached to you in damaged condition, it is your right to check the books being delivered are in good condition. Books with any sort of marking made by user becomes ineligible for return.

Please return the books in the actual condition you received it.

Replacement of books can be done for the entire order or part of the order, subject to books damaged and the availability of the books .


How do I return an book(s) purchased on Granth.com?

To return a book purchased on Granth.com, please refer to the return policy above. You can then contact us on our phone lines or drop us a mail at info.juhu@granth.com for initiating the return.


My return request has been declined. What can I do?

In case your returns are declining and you are not convinced by the reason, you can write a mail to us at info.juhu@granth.com to resolve the issue. You can file a dispute within 15 days from the date of delivery and we will resolve it on a case-by-case basis.


How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order, till the item is not marked for shipping.
Once it is processed for shipping, the shipping changes will be deployed on cancelled order and the balance amount will be refunded.

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it should take us a maximum of 2-5 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund and You will be notified of the same at a priority,

However sometimes, it may take up to 5-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by Granth.
